NEW ROMANCE® IS SETTING UP ON LA CROISETTE

Published on 07/27/17

The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès is pleased to announce a new event, the New Romance® festival.
A festival combined with a trade fair dedicated to “literature that follows new romantic codes”, a modern style of literature that is continuing to attract ever more fans.

The annual event devoted to New Romance® is now setting up shop on La Croisette and over the course of three days will host over 4,000 constant readers from Europe. 20 English authors have already confirmed they will be attending, including Audrey Carlan, author of the hit “Calendar Girl” series, Anna Todd, whose best-seller “After” was one of the most widely-sold novels in France, plus Colleen Hoover and Christina Lauren...
French authors will also be in attendance, such as Jane Devreaux, Laura S. Wild and Fleur Hana, the creator of the “Follow me” series and who hails from the Grasse region.

This event is organized by the publishers Hugo & Cie and Nolim, the digital media offer from a major retailer and promises that this second edition will offer rich encounters based on modern and fast-paced writing. Over the weekend, the public can take part in the book fair and its exclusive offers, attend the preview of a film and participate in several masterclasses offered by the authors who are sharing their world. Participants can also stroll through the trendy and girly entertainment spaces (beauty, clairvoyance, etc.), and attend both the gala dinner and the evening devoted to bestowing three New Romance® awards.

A festival open to the public – Rates: from €10 to €129
