After 27 years of marriage with Catherine, Philippe believes they have no secrets between each other, and can no longer surprise each other. And to convince her, he suggests a very simple game whereby they each have to relate 3 anecdotes about themselves, 2 are lies and one is the truth: the other spouse has to guess which one is true. But while his wife has no difficulty finding the truth, he will tear his hair out trying to untangle the truths from the lies as she drops one staggering revelation after another. And he hasn't counted on his best friend, Edouard, who can’t stop throwing oil onto the fire, much to his dismay. It is diabolically funny, uplifted by a laser sharp script and played at a pace that leaves us gasping for breath. The actors radiate with a manifest pleasure in the game and gratify us with virtuoso performances. Here is a bedroom farce that sparkles with qualities: funny, clever and terribly effective.
