World capital of future programs

Every year in April, the International Television Program Market (MIPTV) brings together audiovisual and digital content industry professionals from 100 countries.

In this economic sector, there’s no contest: it’s the world’s most important meeting place! In concrete terms, at MIPTV, entertainment decision-makers buy and sell programs internationally. They forge partnerships to develop new projects. Business is brisk, and very often leads to numerous financing, distribution or co-production agreements.

Four markets in three days

MIPTV is a veritable concentration of all small-screen genres.

During these three days, it organizes MIPDOC (for documentaries), MIPFORMATS (for more innovative formats) as well as Future of Kids TV (children’s programs).

That’s without counting MIPDRAMA, a show within the show entirely dedicated to major series, in partnership with the Canneseries Festival.

The time for change is now

MIPTV must adapt to the profound changes taking place in the world of television, shaken up by the arrival of new uses such as VOD and streaming. To put it mildly, the sector is in perpetual motion. All the more reason for professionals to take advantage of the event to take part in conferences, round tables and keynotes. Exchange is the key to progress!
