The economic and touristic vitality of the region has made Cannes-Mandelieu the second business travel airport after Paris-Le Bourget. Located 15 minutes from the city centre of Cannes and the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes, the airport provides a great service linking the city with major European cities.

By road

Cannes is linked to all the major European cities by road. The city is connected by the A8 motorway, "La Provençale" (exit N°43 Cannes La Bocca or exit Mougins/Cannes), from Aix en Provence to the west and from Italy in the east.

From Paris: head towards Lyon (A6 motorway), then take the direction for Marseilles (A7) motorway, and then for Nice (A8 motorway) – Exit 40 for Cannes.
From Marseilles (A7 motorway), then take the direction for Aix en Provence, Nice (A8 motorway) – Exit 40 for Cannes.


By carpooling



By train

The city of Cannes has great TGV, Corail and express train links between all the French regions and major European cities. This means of transport is the best way of discovering the spectacular landscapes along the coast at the feet of the Massif de l'Estérel with its red rocks and cliffs. ou
A few examples of journey times: Cannes/Toulon : 1h15 - Cannes/Marseille : 2h - Cannes/Aix en Provence : 3h15 - Cannes/Lyon : 4h and Cannes/Paris: 5h15.
The TER covers the whole region from Saint-Raphaël to Monaco, via Antibes, Biot, Cagnes sur mer, Nice, Villefranche sur Mer.


By bus from the airport

Shuttles run between the airport and Cannes in around 45 minutes:

The boat will drop anchor in the bay of Cannes, passing close to the  Iles de Lérins, and you will disembark at the quay in the very heart of the city, at the foot of Colline du Suquet.
