While ‘Vers les lueurs and Eléor consolidated his success with audiences, here the artist has chosen to wander along unfamiliar paths over the two albums released in 2018. The first instalment, Toute Latitude, his 11th album, recorded with a group, focuses on Rock, from electric to electronic. A ‘spoken word’ flow condenses incisive lyrics, with hints of neo-realism that are more sociological and poetic than political. On stage, using precious lyrics, contagious energetic electric tonalities and cleverly overpowering electro rhythms, Dominique A polishes an atmosphere between gravity and poetry, lifted by an undeniably Rock rhythm. Then as if following the movement of a pendulum, the next album, Fragilité (October 2018) will provide the answer to the first, an intimate, caressing solo acoustic work. It is this latest work that the artist will be presenting in Cannes.
