Community Manager (M/F)

The Community Manager contributes to the reputation of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes and Cannes as a destination, by managing and animating digital communities, producing attractive content and coordinating collaborative initiatives.

In addition to managing the social networks, he/she will also be in charge of structuring initiatives to unite and energise Cannes’ digital ecosystem (CM Club, workshops, partnerships), in line with the overall communications strategy.

Reporting to the Communications Department.

MISSIONS

  • Manage, lead and develop communities on the various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, BeReal).
  • Plan, write and publish engaging content (posts, stories, videos, visuals).
  • Cover events in real time (live-tweet, stories, videos).
  • Responding to messages and moderating.
  • Set up sponsored campaigns and monitor their performance.
  • Analysing results (KPIs) and making recommendations.
  • Creating and adapting multimedia content (texts, visuals, photos, short videos, infographics).
  • Working with in-house teams (Palais Multimedia Studio) and creative service providers.
  • Promote Cannes events, players and initiatives digitally.
  • Participating in the organisation of digital events for Cannes: Community Managers Club, Cannes Connection, Cannes Digital Camp, etc. Monitoring social media trends and algorithmic and technological developments.
  • Identifying new levers to boost Cannes’ digital appeal.
  • Regularly benchmark competing destinations and leading events.

CONDITIONS

  • Duration: 7-month fixed-term contract (end of November 2025 to end of June 2026)
  • Hours: based on a 35-hour week, with availability in the evenings, weekends and public holidays depending on the events calendar.
  • Travel: mainly in Cannes, occasionally on the Côte d’Azur and in France.
  • Working conditions: position based at the Palais des Festivals, equipped with professional digital tools (graphics software, community management tools, professional mobile phone).

YOUR PROFILE

  • Excellent command of social networks (FB, Insta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, BeReal).
  • Strong writing skills (French/English).
  • Good command of graphics and editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut).
  • Experience of running professional communities and organising digital events.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and analysis tools (Meta Business Suite, analytics, reporting).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO/SEA and influence marketing.
  • Creativity and innovation: proposing differentiating and attractive formats.
  • Leadership and team-building skills: bringing together and energising a community of local players.
  • Responsiveness and adaptability: knowing how to deal with unforeseen events in real time.
  • Excellent communication skills: good writing skills, good interpersonal skills, diplomacy.
  • Resistance to stress and flexible working hours.
