The role of the logistics and transport team

The logistics and transport team plays an indispensable role in the success of events held at le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes.

Their main responsibility is to coordinate and execute all the logistical activities required to set up an impeccable infrastructure to welcome participants, exhibitors and visitors. They take care to plan deliveries, manage the storage of equipment and meet the specific needs of each event, to ensure perfect organization.

In addition, the logistics and transport team at le Palais des Festivals et Congrès de Cannes is renowned for its commitment to sustainability and the environment. Working closely with suppliers and partners, they adopt environmentally friendly practices, helping to reduce the carbon footprint of each event.

Must-have services

In order to guarantee the safety of goods and people in the traffic areas around le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, and given its location in downtown Cannes, it is mandatory at each event for reasons of safety and efficiency:

to delimit the area occupied by the event through barricading, and thus secure participants and access to the site for the outside public.
to identify and delimit unloading areas (*).

For safer and smoother operation, it is compulsory to register all vehicles wishing to access the unloading zones and, where applicable, the retention parking lots, during assembly and dismantling, as well as for any deliveries during the site’s opening to the public. Once registration has been completed, you will be issued with a badge authorizing the vehicle to enter the site.

(*) Le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès has two unloading areas:

An unloading area on level -2 with 9 docks.
An unloading area on the forecourt at the Artists’ entrance

Please note: 1 hour fenwick = 1 semi-trailer and 1 logistics package = 1 semi-trailer
