Angelin Preljocaj has imagined a ballet that speaks to the soul, launching nineteen dancers into a tribal dance from which beauty and emotion emerge.
Angelin Preljocaj seduces with the quality of his dance and the diversity of his offerings. His latest creation, Requiem(s), is all about the intimate feelings that resonate within us all when we lose a loved one. Nineteen dancers offer up a memorial dance evoking the complexity of emotions : this strange sequence of states that swings from devastation to the triumph of life.
