Filming dance means creating a dialogue between choreography and cinema to enhance the work. Should the camera remain a witness or become a participant? Come and discuss the challenges and rewards of this artistic encounter with professionals.
Participants will explore the challenges to consider in producing a dance film.

One of the main challenges when making a dance film is to create a dialogue between choreography and cinematography so that they feed off and enhance each other in the service of the work. What are the main pitfalls? Is the camera a witness or a participant in the choreography?
