The hit German series Ku’damm 77, produced by UFA Fiction for ZDF Studios, will be screened in a world premiere on Tuesday 14 October, from 6:00 pm to 7:15 pm (doors open at 5:45 pm) in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals.
This special screening, organised as part of MIPCOM CANNES, will be open to the public. The episode will be shown in the original German with English subtitles, followed by a Q&A session with the creator, director, producer and several members of the cast.
Created and written by Annette Hess (The Weissensee Saga, The German House) and directed by Maurice Hübner (Kitz, Family Braun), the series traces the lives of the Schöllack women in 1970s Berlin: a time of upheaval, freedom and generational conflict.
Ku'damm 77 continues the saga that began with Ku'damm 56, Ku'damm 59 and Ku'damm 63, following huge success in Germany and more than 30 countries around the world.
An unmissable event for all fans of great European series.
