Auditorium Philippe Erlanger (ex Audi K) is located on level 4 of le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. It is a conference room with seats equipped with tablets. Auditorium Philippe Erlanger can also be used for presentations, seminars and similar events.

On Saturday 18 May 2024, the K auditorium was renamed Philippe Erlanger by David Lisnard, Mayor of Cannes, in the presence of Thierry Frémaux, General Delegate of the Cannes Festival, Iris Knobloch, President of the Cannes Festival, and Rachida Dati, Minister of Culture.

But who was Philippe Erlanger?
Born on 11 July 1903 in Paris and died on 23 November 1987 in Cannes (aged 84), Philippe Erlanger was a diplomat, historian, writer, biographer, art critic and journalist.
He was involved in the creation of the Cannes International Film Festival, serving as its first delegate until 1951 and then as a member of the jury in 1953 and 1954.
