Judith Light, Francis Huster and Adam Scott join the "Chemin des Etoiles"

To mark the 9th season of CANNESERIES, three new handprints have been added to Cannes’ famous “Chemin des Étoiles”. Iconic personalities Judith Light, Francis Huster and Adam Scott took part in the handprinting ceremony, reserved for key figures from the world of film and TV. They immortalised their handprints, joining the 450 or so others already made, including Quentin Tarantino, Spike Lee, Catherine Deneuve, Sharon Stone, Meryl Streep, Tim Burton and Sylvester Stallone. This recognition is in keeping with the creative identity of Cannes and its Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, which have made cinema and TV series the same place of expression for the revelation and consecration of talent.

A major figure on the French artistic scene, Francis Huster is an actor, director, producer and writer. A former resident of the Comédie-Française, he has established himself as a key interpreter of the classical repertoire, particularly the works of Molière, of which he is a fervent advocate.

Present at CANNESERIES to defend the Zodiaque series, he is the perfect embodiment of the link between theatrical tradition and contemporary audiovisual creation.

Awarded a Molière d’honneur in 2024 for his entire career, he continues to invest in artistic creation and transmission. This Molière is also immortalised in the plaque (see photo).

A small-screen icon, Judith Light left her mark on an entire generation with her role as Angela Bower in the cult sitcomWho’s the Boss? which ran from 1984 to 1992. Winner of several awards, including Tony Awards for her Broadway performances, she was as successful on stage as she was on screen.

Over the years, she has reinvented herself by taking part in acclaimed series such as Transparent, which has won her renewed critical acclaim, and The Politician. A long-standing supporter of social and humanitarian causes, she is also an influential voice in the defence of civil rights. Invited to CANNESERIES, she is presenting the new season of The Terror, confirming the richness and longevity of her career.

Actor, producer and key figure in American television, Adam Scott has established himself as one of the major faces of contemporary series. He is internationally renowned for his starring role in Severance, the critically acclaimed psychological thriller on which he also serves as executive producer. His performance earned him numerous nominations at the Emmy Awards, the Golden Globes and the Critics’ Choice Awards.

Prior to this success, he starred in cult series such as Parks and Recreation and Big Little Lies. Alongside his acting career, he is developing projects as a producer and co-hosts The Severance Podcast with Ben Stiller. He will soon be starring in several highly-anticipated projects, including Hokum, presented at South by Southwest 2026, as well as The Whisper Man alongside Robert De Niro and The Saviors, which he also produced. A few days ago, he received the Canal+ Icon Award at the CANNESERIES opening ceremony.
