Today, le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes is certified.

  • ISO 9001

    Provides a management framework that fosters the continuous improvement of services to ensure total customer satisfaction.

  • ISO 18788

    Takes into account the pursuit and continuous improvement of security operations, guaranteeing a secure perimeter for all goods and people on site. Le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes is the 1st convention center in France to obtain this certification.

  • ISO 20121

    Reflects the desire to take into account the expectations and interests of customers, suppliers, partners and all stakeholders, in order to articulate the entire approach around the four principles of sustainable development, in line with the fundamental values of le Palais: the principle of transparency, integrity, inclusion and duty of care.

As part of the 46th edition of the World Tourism Fair, the Creative Tourism Network® announced the integration of Cannes into the World Creative Tourism Network and its labeling as a “Creative Friendly Destination” in 2023.

It’s a new string to its bow that le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, which steers business and leisure tourism, is very proud of! In 2023, Cannes became a DID “Sustainable Innovative Destination“. A label created by France Congrès et Évènements, backed by ISO 20121 certification dealing with the challenges of responsible events. In concrete terms, this recognition concerns all local players. It involves all of Cannes’ socio-professionals, who are mobilizing to offer visitors responsible offers throughout their stay, whether in the hotel trade, catering, mobility, shopping or cultural leisure activities. To deploy this approach, several partners are already committed to the approach with le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. In particular, the City of Cannes.

This label is backed by ISO 20121 certification dealing with the challenges of responsible event management. It is divided into 8 issues for 26 actions:

  1. Deploying open and transparent governance
  2. Strengthening sustainable mobility to join the 2050 carbon neutrality trajectory
  3. Favoring responsible consumption and fighting against waste
  4. Making tourism a driver of inclusion
  5. Valuing the economy and protecting the destination’s heritage
  6. Mobilizing resources to foster sustainable innovation in the tourism sector
  7. Involving tourists, professionals and event organizers in the sustainable dynamic
  8. Add specific attention to public safety.
