Cannes named Sustainable Innovative Destination
The Palais des Festivals & des Congrès in Cannes is committed to sustainable tourism.
Since 2023, the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes has been certified as a Destination Innovante Durable (DID), a recognition awarded by France Congrès et Événements that promotes destinations committed to ecological, inclusive and responsible transition.
This label is based on nine major challenges and 40 concrete actions aimed at:
– Reducing the carbon footprint of tourism and event activities,
– Promoting social inclusion and accessibility,
– Preserving biodiversity and local heritage,
– Encouraging sustainable innovation and responsible consumption.
