Description
This exploration of Beethoven’s orchestral works takes a rather unconventional form. The Triple Concerto brings together piano, violin and cello in a dialogue that is by turns intimate and dazzling, offering a fresh perspective on how we listen to music.
The exploration of Beethoven's orchestral work continues with his Triple Concerto, which brings together piano, violin and cello in a conversation with the orchestra that is sometimes gentle, sometimes heart-rending, but always full of vitality. Mirroring this, Jessie Montgomery's Records from a Vanishing City is a short, energetic fresco, a synthesis of the young composer's cultural pluralities. Haydn's “London” Symphony is a brilliant example of the skill of this musician, a great master of the art of symphony.
