CLASSICAL CONCERT 7.30 pm – Courtyard of the Museum of World Exploration ILYUN BÜRKEV piano Born in Turkey in 2008, İlyun Bürkev trained between Istanbul and the Mozarteum Salzburg and quickly gained international recognition, winning the 2023 Young Chopin Competition and the 2024 Philadelphia International Music Festival with her passionate interpretations of Beethoven, Schumann, Liszt and Debussy. JAZZ CONCERT 9.00 pm – Place de la Castre FERGUS MCCREADIE TRIO Fergus McCreadie is a leading voice in European jazz, blending contemporary jazz with Scottish folk influences, with his album Forest Floor (2022) earning international acclaim and award nominations. His latest release The Shieling, recorded in the Outer Hebrides, further defines his immersive trio sound, alongside recent film scoring work for Spike Lee and a 2025–26 residency with Chamber Music Scotland.
